are these the worst thing on the game?

how can it be justified that somebody has 35 of them? you can't say he hasn't got a special way of doing it.

these aren't even part of the rules of UK pool, so why on here?

Now what would be funny is if Nick changed it so that potting the black off the break lost the game. But didn't tell anyone. Then he could make a "most losing goldenbreaks" leaderboard, and see how long before people caught on.

How the hell has your man got 35 golden breaks? No-one had more than 3 when I stopped being a 5-times-weekly regular. Something fishy's going on there.....

if you can figure out how to do it then you deserve them, you can do the same shot over and over and it wont always go in, it had taken him a while to get that many, it can be done so you figure out how to do it and stop complaining.

Excellent. I have my robot exam next week, so if I can figure out how to perfect golden breaks mechanically I'll get extra credit.

Its the technique itself, i hope people realise the record was 2 when i got my first, and 3 when i got my second.

I had a video of how to do it and was giving it away to people i thought i could trust (bar one person who i thought was a respected member who was indeed a 'Professional Pest'), i gave it to 15 people but over 100 people viewed it, golden breaks have turned into a frenzy and ive deleted the video.

Still, while i regret ever giving my technique away i cannot see why people feel the need to abuse me and criticise me purely because i have achieved something which they despite doing many more seven ballings, run-outs and having a much higher ranking couldnt do.

Well done to everybody who has done one regardless of whether you worked it out or was told how to do it, and good luck in trying for all those who havent managed to get one so far but just leave me alone and get on with it.

Good on you ffcmike. There are too many jealous people who havE nothing better to do with their time than give you abuse. I was one of the lucky people who was told how to get the break, but still haven't managed to do it. Keep it going....and all you sad abusers......GET A LIFE!!!

golden breaks are the sh1test thing on the game, and thats a fact.

but fair does ffcmike, if thats the only way you can win points in wont take away your glory

dont think il get 50, its gradually becoming harder and i now think the specific ball movement i did for most of them is impossible.

only gb i've had dun vs me recently is by cool_dude (in the cash league no less!), its lucky to get one but there are a few ways which increase your chances, ffcmike just found the one most likely.

I'd luv to be able to do them again an get on all the leaderboards but it aint happenin any time soon ^_^

since no1 else said it.i tink ice_cool is a cheat and winnin so many tourneys is.................silly..............and ive gotten 3 gbs so far tanks 2 ffcmike.........who just found a way 2 get more rank (when he actually only plays friendlys) and if any1 else found the way 2 do it they wud not be conplainin.........and 2 dat w*n*e*r who told ppl, ffcmike told u dat in good faith, and because of u gbs r more common now then 7 ballings........idiot

For the record, i'm not dissing the ability to find a bug so u can pot the black off the break. I'm just asking that the rules be corrected so that it is a loss as it should be!

There are so many versions of UK 8 ball rules, it really depends on what version you follow. Pub rules is the only UK 8 ball rules I have followed, and potting the black off the break is not a foul in them, but a re-rack.

I think the important thing is that the rules are the same for everyone, and they are stated under funkypool rules, so personally I don't see the problem.

I understand it is annoying when you lose in this way, but I'm afraid its part of the funkypool rules, which is an arcade game, so has to have arcade rules.

it depends actually, if funkypool has its own rules than i cant see a problem with it changing, but if funkypool follows a certain rule set then if one rule is to change then so should others.

And it is not a bug, it is done properly, i.e put the white on a certain spot, aim for a certain spot, and hope.
