Hello all,

As some of you may be aware, I have now joined Nick to help work on funkypool.

I will be looking after the moderating side of funkypool, leaving Nick to concentrate solely on the game development.

My tasks include raising moderating standards, ensuring consistant rules and penalties across the sites, adding a beginners guide to the game, and adding a frequently asked questions section.

I will also be online as much as I can to help resolve any problems, as well as organising and responding to contact us. (And clearing the backlog!).

Thank God, u need to answer those emails! Still no admin on tonight, needed one too! Maybe 2 more admins meaning 2 more new moderators?

As for moderators, replace the people that never come online, i think you know who and if you don't ask anyone on this site

And the problem being?

Lighten up! Beautiful rainy day! I need to report a problem. Only an admin can help as i was told this by a mod!

I really dont think theres a need to get loads of new moderators.

I do agree theres no point in having those above as mods, as they dont come on enough. But i think with contact us and send complaint that theres no need for an army of mods.

I think it would be useful to have more people answering contact us and send complaint however, this would help offensive/racist people be found out and dealt with more efficiently.

I think people who demand more mods are just hoping for a shot themselves, thats cynical i know.

Perhaps promoting a couple of trusted mods to admin would help as well? As then more of the more permeanent punishments could be dealt out as regulary as needed!

yeah a few good points there playerx. Flooding the site with too many members of staff wold ruin it in my eyes.

I especially like the idea about the 'contact us' and more staff behind this!

he didn't say he was making more mods, he said he's working on the mod side of things, meaning working with exsistant mods to make sure they are doing their job etc!
