Personally, i think Lee Evans. Especially in his olympic games set where he announces the unknown countries of the world...
"Gonorrhea!"
"Madeupistan!"
He is, the commentator is making them up as he goes along! Theres a guy called stan going round and round, just changing clothes and flags
"Hesbackizstan!"
You gotta see it

Bill Bailey anyone? He takes everything funny about life, over exaggerates them and still manages to make all our faults ridiculously funny. Plus he's a brilliant musician and songwriter.
Still think Lee Evans is an incredible standup and musician though.

Bill Bailey by a long way, then I'd say Peter Kay as much as it pains me to do so. Billy Connolly is funny but I think its more the accent. Rich someone from the states with a lisp. Dunno his surname but I saw him on the buzzcocks and live at the appollo and he had me in stiches.

Yeah, English comedians just seem that much more funny, probably the dignified accent and the undignified jokes. Peter Kay is good though, didnt think much of him in Amarillo or that new Texas track, I just think that comedy is his forte. Anybody heard of Jethro?
