Ronnie, i do not know where you got the idea where pool_life is thinking about himself!! Can you read? He states that "nick needs time and Patience is a virtue. I know this is going to be rock solid by the time any fixes are put in place."
And i totally agree with him, hope lagging can be fixed!

Screen size:

So the poolgame should be: 622,562
Thats what mine came up with too! How do u change it?

Ronnie, i'm just saying it's been barely hours since this version has gone live. I got lagg too, but i can see the benefits when everything is in place,so i'm not worried at the moment.
Just give it a day or 2 and i'm sure you will be happy with things. I hope so anyway ; )

and here is a perfect example why the new version is slow and pretty much pants
TOURNAMENT RESULT:
ronnie05 (0) loses to mulatinho (2) with 2 balls remaining
mulatinho knocks out ronnie05
and i cant even remember the last time this player beat me. No offence mulatinho

for god sake i hope i actually do like the new version i still think.

I've trid to like the new window but its simply awful, change back or an option to have it the old way would be better.
I lost 4-0 to a 650 ranker.
No offence to whoever that was but I don't lose that many in a row to anyone nvm a 650.
Lastly why does it need to be soooooo bloody big like a disability table. Everyone who has logged in and pm'd me asking me why the table has changed. I actually don't know what to tell them.....
Nick could you help, why hs it actually changed, is it a dig at our vision making it all huge or were you just bored lol.....?

Just wanted to know if this lag is gonna get sorted, i haven't been playing recently and the last time i played there was no such thing as lag, i've come back to play again and i play a shot ( granted i'm not the best) and i'm lucky if the white ball moves. This was once such an ace game to play when you home bored, i can only hope it becomes that again.
And like the saying goes, why fix something if it ain't broke.... i have faith in you mr funkypool.

Never a truer statement, was wally's first post so he must be pretty upset....
Only a look at the winners of tournaments since the change proves how much lag people are getting. stevenlfc is the only deserved winner I think. But didn't see the games so I'm just going on profiles....

When is there gunna be an option to get the old version back? I dont mean 'you can resize the table wheneva you like' i mean a option which brings it up without having to mess about with it for 10 minutes every time i log on.
I dont really wanna play ranked untill the old table comes back. The ONLY reason why i'm still playin is cuz i cant be havin player_x beat me to 10000.
The game just isn't as fun as it was before.

personally i think the larger window would be ok if the cursor size was also increased in relation to the ball size, with the cursor remaining the same size it changes the angle you have to hit the balls.

To get the old size/table back.....
Click Instructions or http://www.funkypool.com/help.do
Then... scroll down to "Game Problems" and click the link that says,
+ The game window seems incorrectly sized, how do I fix it?
This will then display this,
Please follow these instructions to resolve this problem:
On the second open dialog, scroll down to section "Miscellaneous" then "Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints" and select "Enable"
Click OK to close the dialog, OK to close the next dialog
Now, you need to close all the browser windows before reopening
If you wish to open the older smaller sized window please click here <-----THEN CLICK
Now you will have the old table and normal size back! =)
