I'm over in Thailand and have personally eaten local food including many things I wouldn't even consider as food.

So what unusual food has other people had?

Thai food is gorgeous somewhere between Indian And Chinese i think is a fair judgement of it.
But i bet its even better over there. Time for Lunch lol

kangaroo. dam nice too, had it out in the canary islands

speaking of canaries, ever tried one?

Went to Africa once and had a Crocodile burger
When asked what i wanted to order at the Cafe i said " Crocodile burger Please and make it snappy"

squid, seaweed, swordfish, swordfish is luvly...like chickeny fish =)

I've had:
- dried locusts, beetles, caterpillars
- ant egg omelette
- whole grasshoppers
- whole dried frog
- chicken feet
- chopped frog
- raw prawns
- crab eggs, squid eggs (lovely)
- horseshoe crab

Some of my nicest foods were also food I didn't like a few years ago, eg steamed whole crab, tiger prawns, mmmmm!

Yep tidnab, in my opinion Thai food is the best food found anywhere - tasty, spicy, diverse, and healthy! You don't have to have "strange" meals either, a nice coconut chicken curry (tom kah gii) is superb. Go visit a Thai takeaway as soon as you can ;)

Went to a gr8 Thai Restraunt a few years ago in shrewsbury, its a converted boat moored on the river severn fantastic grub without a doubt.
It came highly recommended and glad i went

I have had horsemeat in France, apparantly its common there very nice didnt like the sugar lumps that came with it tho ;-)

omg nick ant egg omelette!!!! that sounds horrible. the best ive done is snake tastes like chicken lol

Nick - chickens feet??, that is sick! you must be pretty mad in the head to wanna try that!, but ive seen asian food on telly and they eat eggs just before there about to hatch, so basically its like eating a chick!

The most weirdist food ive eaten was crockadile, tastes quite nice though!

But remember this, we are top of the food chain so we can eat anything we like!

chinese eat cat and dog thats sick especially the way they kill them poor little cats meowing for comfort then un awarely put into salty boiling water alive...... then dragged out and (just alive) and fur pulled out (hot water softens it so it just all come out in 1 go)
