Hehe, they sell dog in remote places up here, in rural North East Thailand they have all the dog heads outside to proove the meat really is dog!

That is just sick!! aswell as cruel.

I'm not sure about it being cruel, Thailand is a very big country and it has very poor areas. North East has lots of poverty and people don't always have a choice on what they can eat.

Showing the heads outside isn't too similar to some of the butchers in UK, which show whole dead animals in the window.

Dog lol I don't think I'd be able to eat it anyway. About as exotic as you can get up here is blubber from whales I think.....

well on the same note some faiths wont eat pork due to it being either dirty or sacred pending on the Faith...But these animals are not domesticated over here So what we see is disgusting with cats and dogs other faiths will see our humble bacon buttie as disgusting too.........The difference is we domesticate cats and dogs but they dont they have them wild, but they dont domesticate Pigs and other cattle! its a no win argument but i didnt like seeing that footage of the Chinese scalping a live Cat it turned my stomach ....Dogs and cats are cute (or can be) Pigs and cattle are not!!!!

Nope, them dog heads and dog meat is wrong, thats crueltey to animals eating them and killing them like that, a dogs an animal not something which goes on you dinner plate.

Probably because dogs are a domesticated pet where as the others listed are farm animals and are only alive via farms to serve one purpose.....

Dog's are kept as pets in most countries and the vast mojority of people over here wouldn't eat a dog, mainly because it would taste bad I imagine, partly due to our great RSPCA service :)

End of the day: Over here dog is mans best freind regardless of what it does on the rug..........
