Not really, Ive lost a good 3 tourns due to technical failures. However I don't create a thread on it. I rarely create threads. Just tend to post alot on the others allready going. But yes the site needs more admins. Either Nax to come back or promote rich as he's on more often than not. I'd love to see nax back as admin however Im not sure he ever will be as he suffers alot from the lesser on this site.

It is obviously something Nick doesnt feel a problem with. Out of all the tournaments how many (in percent ) do go wrong. i would say about 0.5% maximum.

Ediss i do know its frustrating when a tourney goes wrong, but you have a respectable ranking and a vast amount of tourney wins, that you can fall back on if it does go wrong. So chin up!

I have also posted about the lack of admin and Moderators on this site but it has never been looked at, by Nick or anyone else. there is about 30,000 + members,and at peak time on average, there is about 150-200 people on, and 1-2 Mod's and maybe one admin if we are lucky, that works out at 100 users to 1 mod, say a tourney goes funny their is nothing they can do. I also think that Moderators and Admins should have contact details shared between themselves so they can ring an admin,when something goes wrong.

I've been browsing the forums again, and i cant help but feel obliged to respond to this.

Given the extreme rarity of tourney faults, and he fact that its totally unrealistic to expect anyont to fix things in real time, ths is a moot point.

And, most important of all, remember its only a game! Hell, its not even a game.. its a java simulation of a game! LOL!

Its fun, thats all that matters.. now if there were something at stake in the tourneys? thats different...

I agree with Spinner. The recent problems with the Tournaments can be frustrating, but you have to put things in perspective.

When everything is running smoothley, which as Kev said is about 99.5% of the time, people seem to take it for granted. All it takes is a couple of minor slip ups and the forum turns into 'Complaint City'.

I think Nick summed things nicely up in a recect annoucement, and i quote:

"Everything seems to be running smoothly now, and we've refunded your game payments to your bank accounts ;) "

Speaking purely about myself, I go to my parents house for about 3 weeks around christmas and news years every year. Therefore won't usually login during that time. Within the next week or so I should be around more.
