If a few more log on there's nowhere for them to go!

yeah theres ova 30.000 users, fair to say some are the same person but to have room for just 150 members we do need more rooms lol

im getting mega lag aswell

There's enough rooms for the short-term, may be necessary to add in the near future.

You can have more than 200 people online at once. People can be playing in games. Anyway, there are certain times of the year when there are more players. Later in the year there wont be as many people on i don't think.

nah they will be, doesnt matter what time of year, just wot time of day mate. about 4 - 9am its pretty dead. 7pm uk time its always packed. best time to play is about 9am till half 2pm weekdays. everyone is at work and all the lil kids are at school and you can crack on without any hassle

Well think about those people playing games, they might want to have a break, but can't get into members bar or any other room.

Something needs to be done before this happens again.

I haven't seen a time when all 4 rooms are full. 39 has been the highest i've seen. People are coming and going all the time, so don't feel a new room is necessary at the moment.

Will get one created should these numbers increase though.

There was space for 22 people to enter the rooms, if say 2 more people logged on, and 5 of the tourny games finished, thats 22 people who may want to enter a room. If people were watching the games, thats more than 22!

When there were these 22 spaces left there were about 7 or 8 tourny games running, surely you can see my point that something needs to be done very soon?

As in within the week, if more tourns end up like the one in question I can see a few users walking away from the site which we obviously don't want.

most lag is because of your iternet connections (yes too many people on 1 server may cause it to crash) but most lag is based on the users internet speed, computer's system memory things like that

Tournament crash was a problem on our side. We have details of what happened, so it will be easy to fix. However, it can't get fixed until US pool goes up, so *fingers crossed* it wont happen before then.

Regarding opening another room yep we can easily do this, and better to have an empty room than being full.

EDIT: "the garage" created, the place where you put stuff when every else is full, plus where there is space to play pool (for those of us who don't live in mansions ;)

If i'm not mistaken the tourny room is hardly "full" on a regular basis even when tournys are taking place , i would say 20 at the max is the most i've seen in that room in a 1st or 2nd round match .

yea tourn rooms only used when theres no more room

To create a new room it takes about 10 seconds...it wont have been much trouble...the whole point of this thread was that the site was running out of space...i'd never seen it so busy before, the new room will just be there incase another freaky amount of people turn up again, better to be safe than sorry.
