I think the intended response time is 3 days. Has anyone else tried the contact us and had no reply?

Yes, however I can see why. If there are about 25,000 users and only 4 or 5 admin, probably only 1 who goes through the mail. Obviously they are going to get behind a little. I sympathize with simon and nick as they put alot of effort into this site and don't get much credit. Keep up the great work guys, and all the funkypool team.

Yes..I also have used the contact form many a time..for many reasons...racist users and names (etc.) and i have never had a reply! ok give it 2 weeks or so but never to get a response..a bit rude!! merry kissmass!! :-)

I can understand delays, but if it isn't ever responded to, it shouldn't be there.

In your case squeezy, the delay is due to me.

A few emails Simon can't answer he forwards to me, however, I've been away from home on a break. The non trivial ones take a while (I'll ask Simon to reply in these cases that it will take a prolonged time and he's forwarded to me).

Allow me about 2 weeks to answer - not only is it Christmas breaks and have been away, when I'm here I'm concentrating on US pool.

We have answered 121/140 emails received this month, average reply time under 3 days (though some longer of course)

I have had no reply and i sent one a month ago it was about racial abuse some one called me a nig*** and i have screen shots to prove his happened but still waiting for the response.

Just give it time, Nick's just wrote why some are taking longer than others. Its not like your going to die if it isn't answered is it....

Challenge, to complain about a user you must use "send complaint" while logged into the game server.

Is this what you did?

No i didn't but that aint the point is it? You should be able to use either of the two contact systems. Not sure alot of people know you have to send complaint whilst logged in instead of using the contact us system. It should be made clearer nick.

Challenge, there's a difference between the two systems. The in game one "send complaint" is just to do with other users. Although I agree that there aren't enough catergories to select from. The other one "contact us" is about everything. It takes the same time for the process to work depending on which method you choose so its your choice.

The in game send complaint was brought in because we couldn't simply take a person's word that another user is being abusive. If you want us to take action on another user you must use the in game send complaint method (this sends us the full chat script).

Otherwise you can always ignore the user.

Regarding being confused about the 2 systems, I will add a note on the contact us page. It may be too late the first time you see it, but at least you will know for future.

It wasn't in the main chat it was a PM do you still recieve what has been said in Pm's if you send complaint?

Yep, basically use the button on the PM window which is called "send complaint", this actually sends the chat log to the user.

It will bring up a dialog asking to fill in the reason for the complaint (and details that it should only be used for serioous complaints eg racism or threats).

Ideally we'd have 24/7 mod coverage so mods can give online assistance for this.

i understand that the admns are busy and i respect that however its been two weeks :( and i have not recieved a reply. no "this might take a while"- no "go jump off a bridge"- Nothing. :( oh well
