I have finally had enough of the cheating factor!!
There is not many ways to cheat but the main one is typing jibberish on your shot and it coming up as a pm. This happened to me today in a semi-final match, i do have ignore pm's on while competing but this person was suppose to be an apparant friend and was in my friends list. The player pm'd me on the black of my shot, i had roughly 2seconds or so left-got the pm through meaning i got a random shot limit therefore meaning my opponent got 2 shots and wraped up the game by cheating!!
SO.....my resolution is that no matter who you play in the tournaments or any games...automatically the opponent can not pm you no matter the curcumstances. I think this is a pretty good idea. Your thoughts please! Thanks Shaun

Shaun, that's a cracking idea. I think PM's should actually be disabled whilst playing (might get rid of some of the chatting but in games no distractions are welcome!).

Why Thanks GV m8. Yes disable pm's while competing or a disable only on the opponent. As it's happened to me now i fell gutted and think it is totally wrong, this also happened to another user last nite in the semi finals and he was pm'd just like i was. What do u think NIck?

Heres a tip: when playing your opponent in a tournament, as the game starts, click their name so their pm box comes up, then minimize it. This should prevent the pm popping up during the game. Then just close the window when finished. Hope this helps.

i got an idea, play the shot in the 1st 10 seconds so you have time to minimize the chat box.

But we are not all professionals are we? ;-)

you can't do that any more farren the pm box automatically comes first meaning you have to close or minimize it before taking your shot!

how about clicking their name and mayb ignore them therefore nothing pops up no hassle from them saying ggs wp ggs wp ggs wp in main screen either.

Had someone try that ol'chestnut to me today. Farren's trick does work. Once you return focus back to the game the PM box remains in the background.

yes, but it will prevent it poping up in the game later on. I know it's a chore but, i guess it could help.

I think shjauns got a good point and there should be someway of getting justice here. Also there are some people ( including pros ) that watch your game and put you off! I think this is outrageous and I think only your friends can watch or people you invite.

I don't belive this shaun what is up with you you say i pm you in our semi - final what a joke m8! you asked for me to let you win you typed all this : gdgdgdgdgdl;gd;ss sflsfsfs;f' s'fs'f' when i tryed to pot the black on which i did finally pot it to set-up a tie with 8_ball_pool in the final. You say this as though it was me but it's quite clear it was you This is not on. Then you're in a mood with me for not letting you win, this is ridiculous ! what was i supposed to do . Be patient and your tourny will come . There is no need for this thread as it is pointless and basically a load of crap!
