How about mods having a specific job in front of 'moderator'.

Fields that could be used are.

Technical Help Moderator
Tournament Moderator
Forum Moderator
All Round Moderator.
Chat Room Moderator.

There just examples, they could be re worded as Nick wants.

This would help so say if i was having technical problems and both nicknax and xmavadox were online, and nicknax was 'technical help moderator', i could go to him instead of xmavadox who would be, i dunno, 'tournament moderator' for example.

The moderator could still cross over different jobs when needed, it would just mean they had a specific area to concentrate on?

This might mean less hassle if xmavadox was trying to moderate a tourny from people who want technical help when nicknax or nick are online.

All jobs and moderators used are examples, but you get the idea.

great idea, but i would say that there should be at least 2 mod's for each section, or many more to tell you the truth, because i have never seen more then 3 mod's on at once, but yeah nice idea!!

maybe you could have a rota so 1 week u could be chat room mod and then the other tech mod...so then you don't get stuck with the rubbish jobs like as you say..."THE CHAT ROOM!!!!!!!!"

Maybe some more "gust mods" can be employed. They only have the power to boot guests or something, purely for the chat-room coz i think the chat room is still a disgrace.

Wouldn't be neccasary boring just a job as a mod would please most!

Yep it is a very good idea. We sort of have a structure in place for admin. Right now mods roles is to keep game running smoothly (fairly generic role), but dividing into chat room moderating / game moderating and forum moderatng would be a good start.

I do think technical help is best posted on this forum however (for 2 reasons, sometimes people wont be able to access the game - this way all the technical details is dealt with in 1 area, and so if people have the same problem they can hopefully search for and find the problem).

yeah if it's too specific then some mds wont be able to help you with something out of their feild if the apropriate mod isn't online at the time. keeping it general ensures everyone gets a fair say
