How about it??? Maybe get less timewasters in?
I know its automated system but can be annoying when theres loads registered and not playing thats why i dont do so many

An option to play it ranked would be better than a forced rank game. If both player's ticked a check-box then it could be ranked, but both would have to agree.

Or maybe a whole ranked tournament would be better. Maybe once or twice a day, or could be as often as the marathon tournaments.

hmmmm? two people agreeing??? a recipe for disaster??
Perhaps have everyother tourney ranked?? and advertise it as so...... Then people have That option without dissagreeing...It will give lower rank players the chance to play higher ranked players, I know sometimes if i accept a game and the other player is high rank or vise versa then they leave cos it wont benefit the ranking much, which is a bit of a shame, Me, however will play any rank. but thats beside the point lol

You might play every rank now with the current rank you hold, but when your rank become's higher you might find yourself being a little more pickyas to who you play against.

naaaah m8 i wont, and i doubt ill get that high LOL.
Anyway that's not the topic of conversation i was merely using it as an example for ranked tourneys so lower ranks can get a chance too, I Play in a darts ladder too and theres a Gr8 banter between all players regardless of rank.

its a gd idea BUT it wont work , due to newbie's v's an adept will have no afect really and how ever its crap because you could pot the black and things , so i think we shouldn't have ranked torns.

Thats the whole point getting diff players too risk or improve ranks ie adept v newbie some newbies are damn good too.

rule is because you play and win a newbie they dont loose much and you dont gain much i think

Anything that creates a bit more motion amongst rankings cannot be too bad surely, as it should force players to try their best every time. I much prefer tournies anyway instead of ranked "non-tournament" games, as they are naturally more competitive.
Some top-ranked players do stay up there for a long time without playing anything, but that's for another thread.

I reckon the time limits are too long. 20+ minutes for a best of 3 match. This has gotta change

Could we perhaps see some other form of competition as well as the tournament. Maybe a league or something. It would give people a chance to play a number of matches against players with different ranks.

time limit is 3 minutes to accept invite, which i believe's been changed to 4 now for reconnection time.
Then there's 3 possible frames to be played on a best to 3 match. This works out to be 7 mins per frame. The time isn't too bad, when you're playing defensive snooker against your opponent, which are part of the official rules.

U win a match 2-0 u get +2.0
U win a match 2-1 u get +1.50
U lose a match eithter 2-1 or 2-0 u lose -1
Stops time wasters joining too!! 2 a day mayb.
The 10 pm tourny and 10 am tourny to be ranked-the rest friendlies?

maybe you just get ranked points for reaching later stages?
