Nick, can you please please please make a funkypool tournament in the style of the world cup. with groups who play eachother once and the winner and runner up go through to the next round and semis ect

this would work if there was the right amount of players, so it'll have to be first come to be in it

anyone else think this is a good idea?

just a one off for the world cup itself? or changing the tourny type for regular ones?

Nice idea, Once a week would be a good idea, im thinking the 10pm tourny on a Sunday, but it could turn out to be unfair on other users, maybe something similar to berites league the done?

sounds good but what about a time everyone can play?
Say a 10 year old plays pool but his mum won't let him stay up untill then....he might feel left out maybe a afternoon one on a sunday

it should be held about once a year, and the winner should get a game achivment with something like funkypool cup winner.
it should be rare, which makes it all more so important! i think a couple hundred users would want in, easily. it would be a huge competition, therefore it would be best if it was in bank/holiday and a day for each round to be played.

great idea, once a month is the best, and like gilli said on game achievements. e.g the number of cup wins.

why do you want it once a month or a few times a year? it will just turn into the current torneys and will mean nothing. funkypool needs a big event once a year that atracts loads of users and the winner will realy have something to brag about. if it happens a few times a year, its not as big a bragging right.
