i noticed you can't copy-paste the text in the main chat window. i think most users would benefit from being able to copy paste

also because of this, you cant use the scroll on the mouse to scroll upwards, which i find annoying as i like using this alot more than using the scrool bar.

hehe was just about to say that.... i need my scolling back plz...can't moderate properly without scrolling up the page a bit, when u got 50 ppl in a room its bad enough as it is

yep. I don't like these changes either. I like the colours, yeah, but not the text box changes.

we should also have the option of pink text :-P

If you want to copy and paste links and email addresses this is being considered (won't clickable links be better than copying?).

If you want to copy and paste chat conversations into the forum then... well... unlucky ;)

Regarding scrolling it's lost unfortunately... :( might be worth using the funkypool chatter to see more chat text (assuming a large monitor)

I agree copying the link is a pain, however if they become clickable like they are in msn windows it will solve the problem.

Problem is, you can not have colour text and copy and pasting (on Java). A limitation that's annoying me, too.

You also have to watch out for users who link illegal sites too. Having a direct link will mean an increase of people wanting to visit a certain site. Not too sure if a filter could be used to prevent this...

Yep... if people send adult / illegal links they can get a ban for it (depending where they show the link).
