now i dont want people to think im just having a moan because i havent won a tourny yet but i feel i would benfit from a longer time limit.

At the moment there is a certain amount of luck involved with winning a tournament because of the time limit. obviosly there is still a lot of skill involved but i suppose most of it depends how the balls fall on the break because you dont have much time to think about your shot with only 20 seconds. i feel that with a slightly longer time limit such as 30 seconds there would be a lot more skill involved and it would make players have to think more carefully about there current shot. which in turn would give tactical players more of a chance of winning, maybe everybody is happy with the time limit as it is but i would like to see a slight increase, tell me what you all think.

i vote for 30. it wont make any difference to me but more skiller players will win more often and thats only fair huh?

the default time limit for a tournament is 20 seconds per a shot

It's up to each admin/mod the shot limit time for a tournament . I will personally keep mine at 20 seconds as an extra 10 seconds per shot will soon add up and tournaments will start lasting all night!

Having said that I could probably live with a 25 second limit.

to b honest i wud rather hav a 15 or 10 sec limit cos that wud make ppl practise more therefore less tournaments therefore less tournament messups and hen more credit when u win them

I think I normally have 20 seconds, not too quick but also we don't want the tournaments taking ages to run.

OK, the reason we have 20 seconds is... It gives the people who can't think as fast, a better chance.

i think it should stay at 20sec cause ppl don't just come on this site, ppl do e-mail ppl, ect. if it was 15 or 12 they may only get 1 letter in an e-mail then it is there shot. keep it at 20sec.
