bumping can mean posting in old threads to put them to the top of the pile, so more people will read them. it could probably also be used in terms of bumping up your thread count

Some people want to read every thread, and will read in order.

If you add a comment it moves the thread to the top of the list.... this is not a problem if the thread has become relevant again, but if you simply add "lol" or "who cares" to the bottom then why should people reread it?

Also, the threads are sorted in date order by last post, you are basically making the topics lose their correct order. 3 month old threads are usually historical only.

Please stop doing it, you post lots of good stuff as well. If you see a thread has not been edited in the last 30 days please leave it be!
