2 main things affect how far you can hit the ball.
1) The initial power, is it too great or too weak?
2) The table friction, is it too little or too great?

The power seems fine. A little hard to pull off snookers though!!
The spin is much better, more realistic and agressive.

power may be a little too great as snookers are more difficult to do

I preffered the change in power, in real life the amount of power the top players can generate is un-real, in my opinion, to make the game as realistic as possible, you should revert the power back to the original change you made.
To Stevens point, in real pool very few snookers are played, and when you play pool it is very hard to tap the ball and control your cue. I feel that the original change in power encouraged players to play to clear, which i think is a good thing!
Also, its very hard now to break the balls up on the break, which is unrealistic.

I liked the power as well, as lord said in real life its very hard to lay snookers with the slitest of touches.
Also the friction was good too, i liked it.

The point is that in real life you *can* control it if you're good, whereas yesterday the lightest shot was half a table's height.

i agree with nicky.............it was an extremely fast table. It made those 'hit and hope' shots more possible to pot tho lol , but in the same breath
in-off shots were getting annoyingly common from a light hit .... glad to have the old table back!

is it me or can anybody else not seem to obtain maximum power off the break??
i know you are probabally working on performance at the moment but could you make the balls a little less square on the right and the bottom of the balls makes the balls look oval and sqaure, i know this is meant to be shading but it doesnt look that gd:P can tell you werent a graphics student.
forgot to say well done and thanks for the upgrade:)

the break off is very weak for some apparent reason but throughout the rest of the frame its very hard to play slow shots

the break has no power, in real life it is possible to pot at least one ball off break - I've done it ;)
on here, you can't anymore.
