rules are not set like snooker the pool rules are a guide if u play 4 a league at real pool different pubs play different variations of it, all legal of course......perhaps there should be a national rule like snooker has..............but that would be boring lol

yep, this is a 'pub version' of the game.

if this is based on the ''pub game'' then why is there no touching ball rule?

maybe it's cos if balls touched, then it would put him off and he'd lose ;)
