For once i agree with squirt lol, expecially points 2 and 4...err and 3 aswell :-), i think side spin should have been added, but why did other game aspects have to change? PLEASE PUT THEM BACK!

No worries, that wasn't just aimed at you ste4eva, many people are saying they lose too many points when the lose games, however before the consensus was it took too many games to move up the rankings.
But now, you will win more points than you win. So just don't lose!
Yep, the breaks are slower. There was a bug in the last version of funkypool (that's been around for a long long time!) that meant when 2 balls hit the overall energy / speed of the balls increased.
This means that when the balls broke before, the balls broke too much.
However, to improve the breaks we can increase the maximum power of the white, which we will probably do by a touch! Contribute the the "your input: power" in the sticky thread above.
But now, you will win more points than you win. So just don't lose!

the majority go for the latter. i feel embarrassed for all those 800 + rankers having to play on this version. its that bad, ie simple simon stuff.

Played about 20-30 games today and i got to say that i'm loving it. Seems to flow really nice, the spin i think deserving a special mention. Seems all the hard input by the creators is bearing fruits! The bigger table has personally improved my game, finding the potting coming more natural now (thank god). The ranking system is good for everybody if you think about it, newbies and pros! So Thankyou for the hard work guys and for taking some of our concerns on board. Cheers!!!

this is my 1st posting on the forum, i played poolsharks for years, and just got back into funkypool a couple of weeks ago, it was great up until these changes, i cant even finish a game!! it keeps crashing, also ball in D, less power in breaks very annoying, side spin I can deal with but i will probably defect to another site if these problems aren't sorted, all your loyal users seem to agree. I haope I don't have to end our love affair!! lol
