I say scon, lol. this thread is funny. I don't think my accent could handle saying "scone" (like stone) I'd sound like a squiddy! Are welsh scone's those thick pancake things with raisins in them? Or is that just my mum's bad cooking?

the way you say it is scon if u say it over and over and say scone it sounds much different.

the e makes the difference. but is spelt with the e though.
