myself and masta were playing a game just now and i got lag.well i stopped responding and started responding again. due to this, it took longer than normal for me to see his shot. well in fact, after 5 mins of waiting, i didn't see his shot what so ever and he had to forfit the game as my computer didnt catch up with the server.

shouldn't it just have carried on and gave me time penalty shots?
i feel bad because i got lag and he had to forfit the game.

nah i was lagging because i got logged out and back in with aol, therefore not responding, then i started responding, then i was lagging from that.

hmmm, when my ntl broadband connection died, i stopped responding, came back then was able to continue playing.

May be a problem to certain users though, best to wait for nick's post.

yeah i do that sometimes aswell. able to continue plaing after the connection has died, but its happened twice now where the game hasnt caught up with the server. i was still able use the chat function though. seems strange.

There is a bug with the reconnection code at the moment - when the game attempts to reconnect after temporary internet failure, messages sent from the game to the server can be lost meaning the shot data has been lost.

We are aware of the problem.

its happened to me lately too but i never get logged out. usually when im in a game, it freezes and 1/9 appears in the top right corner of the page. when it gets to 3/9 i start responding. i dont lose the game but when this happens im inactive for almost 3 mins which slows the game.

why does it matter?
