NIRVANA, Green Day and Korn... all rulers of the musical kingdom

My opinion:-

Nirvana - crap, only 1 song which is ok by them all the rest forgotten about. lead singer tried to become a legend by commiting suicide, what a d1ck!

Greenday - Theyre ok for an American Rock Band but terribly overated. Only song which is really any good is Wake Me Up Before September Ends.

Korn - More crap, name says it all really. Not talented at all maybe they wasted their 'talents' on the imaginative band name of Korn. As all good bands find their name from their cereal, dont they?

you say NIRVANA only have one good song and the rest have been forgotton about.. i think you'll find more people who like NIRVANA than people who like james blunt

thing is, NIRVANA stopped making music more than 10 years ago and are still selling thousands of records a week. in 6 months time, maybe less, no one will be listening to james blunt anymore. also, the KC trial is going to be reopened within the next year. more evidence has emerged to suggest it wasn't a suicide. (at the time, the police never did a proper investigation)

you've never seen Green Day live i take it? radio1 said it was the best show for 10 years. it was the best show i've ever seen, deffinately

Korn not tallented? that's idiotic to say the least. else they wouldn't have a record deal. also, because you listen to james blunt you've probably only heard one or two korn songs, the one's on tv.

Of corse Nirvana have more fans they were around for longer and theyre American, doesnt make them good though.

Radio 1 says its the best concert so of corse its the best. It was prob just one of those spur of the moment things and it was broadcast on radio 1 so of corse theyre gona say it was good.

The Cheeky Girls have a record deal. Does that make them talented? Korn should stay in their box with the flakes.

There are many different opinions in the music world, you seem to think yours is right, no-ones is because everyone has a different one.

mislead i have to disagree with you on the fact that james blunt probs will stick around a while, hes a talented guy. However nirvana are legends even if im not a big fan, live your life in the mainstream gava, just dont dismiss everything because its not your thing, thats immature and very ignorent.

sorry but that really made me laugh that one.
1: the title is wrong...
2: its not even the best song on the album (in my opinion)
3: their older stuff was better if you're into that kinda music.

korn...cant stand um miself but they are very musicaly talented and are good for the audience that they want to reach out to.

James Blunt (finaly the start of the thread) you're beautiful, its a gr8 song but I dont think the rest of the album will make such an impact (haven't heard it tho, so may be wrong) but its all gonna be downhill for him after a few months i think.

Lol yeh soz I spelt greenday's song wrong but I ahve my excuses coz I was listening to 'Wake me up before you go go' last night. I've heard their older stuff and everyone tells me how good it is and how good 'good riddance' is which I think is only an average song.

And btw I'm not saying my opinion is right I'm just explaining my reasons for liking certain music and not liking other types of music. I just cant understand y ppl like some bands, thats all. I like being controversial sometimes shall we say. Just like being that way tho even if it can lead to arguments occasionally. lol.

also, i dont particulary like green day or nirvana and i think korn are pretty poor, i was arguing for alternative music in general.

hehe i set up a successful thread. i think. The rest of the album is just as good as 'you're beautiful' but that will always be the song he is remembered for so it will be the one that stands out the most.

but it isn't original! all been done before. why do you like listenin to the same songs over and over? That's what i don't understand
