When I smoke weed I always think I'm goin to poo me pants. Once the paranoia got so much I had to get me mates out the car so I could drive back home to unleash what little fury there actually was to come out.

Another time me and mate were sat on his landing on chairs, and thought the name The Charis Upstairs was a good name for a band (copyright). Coincidently that same night I lost the feeling in my spliff-holding hand and had to pull it to my mouth with the other. Great Times.

Most drugs are fine when experimented with in a controlled environment.

i agree with gav almost 100% altho i've never touched (and never will) anything more than weed or shrooms

the media/government (assuming they're not the same) makes weed sound bad, and other harder drugs do too

Unless you're stupid enough to do too much of any drug, by and large they can be enjoyed relatively safely. It's not the most popular view, but there you go. I say, no experience, no opinion.

If you're just going to cast a net over all those recreational drugs, why not weed as well? Because to be quite honest, smoking weed is more unhealthy than taking a pill. Period.

The dangers concerning ecstasy can be readily avoided by the user, be it over heating or water-poisoning. Idiots that drink 10 pints of lager after taking it can expect problems.

The fact is that there's seven ecstasy-related deaths per million users. Whereas there's 625 alcohol-related deaths per millions users. Now how does that sound?

EDIT: It does have to be said that all the drugs (exception of alcohol) mentioned are illegal...
