what about if there could be a table made for the top newbies
and the top intermediates and adept so they can see where they are,itd make a big difference and make the game feel alot more worth while for them,they could battle it out for different places,which would make the game a lot more interesting for them.

I think this is possible, certainly is in php, not sure whether it is in java, but can't see why not, by using a database query.

SELECT from `db` WHERE `rank` < '800' LIMIT 50;

something like that would do the work, if it's possible in java and nick agrees it'd be good, then i'd imagine it would be added, as I'm sure it doesn't involve too much work!
