hey all how about on the black ball you have to select the pocket you want the black to go in. if it goes in a different one to what you selected other player wins or could get 2 shots and the black gets placed back on the table

hmm, ye it aint a bad idea, it wud stop flukes on black knockin you outa tournis etc.... i dont like the rule that if you pot black on break you win tho.

i dont really like the idea because it would'nt be like a real game of pool

well if u name the poclet..... u get extra rank?

That's not very good though, if the black is just hovering over the pocket then people are gonna name it and get more points for not really doin much. If the named pockets was random no matter where the black is, people would attempt trickshots etc and it would make it more fun :-)

how about only in tournaments?

You should have to name the pocket, like Yahoo Pool.

I don't think you should win if you pot the black off the break, in normal pool it's just a re-rack.

2 shots shouldn't carry onto the black either.
