does anybody else just hate the last little stinky warm bit in a can/bottle of beer or lager??

When you work behind the bar and you go glass collecting, you find that the oldtimers and alchofrolics are very protective of their 'last little stinky warm bit'. Losers. Get a job. I tell you, this week, everytime I've been working during the day, the SAME people are in there. I mean, is it part of their daily routine? 'Err, think I'll wake up.. see if my dole's been paid in.. then go down the pub and have a pint of Mild for breakfast and check the betting.' Now what sort of life is that? Pssh. And bloody hell, there's this couple who comes in, they pick their kids up from school at about 3pm, and come straight to the pub. The parents leave legless after about 6 or 7+ pints each. It's a very smokey atmosphere, and these little kids are breathing that crap in every single day!

Is it so hard for them to take them to the park for the afternoon? Anywhere has to be better than a pub. Their son must be about 9 or 10, and my god, I'm a lover not a fighter nowadays, but believe me when I say I've wanted to throttle the little turd. And another thing that annoys me in there, the priks who come to the bar and say "Alright our kid". NO. Address me properly. "Alright mate" is perfectly acceptable, hell, even use my name! "Alright Gav", hey, that's more than fine. But 'our kid'? Not only is it an annoying phrase anyway, it's bloody condesending. They need to get off their arses and do something with their lives.
