as it says wanna ignore mods in tourney games..."gg gg gg" all the way through .. they give ya 2 shots and ya have 7balls left its "gg wp gl in next round" its sad..

well i agree it is very sad n i av tlked to craig bout dis many of times cos kowalski said all urs gg wen lamb had 4/5 balls left in a tourny otha day pathetic!

u shud b allowed to ignore all convo's in da main convo box aswell as ignore pm's den der r no distractions!!!

maybe put up a rule to say that any people seen saying gg before the game has ended that they cud be punished.

Would be very difficult and maybe a little unfair to punish people.

I personally think its bad sportsmanship but its not against any rules, so there isn't much we can do.

if dats da onli way sum1 cn win a game by jynxin n puttin ppl off its realli sad n dey need to grow up.

Have u lot heard urselfs? 'ooooh he sed gg b4 i won...thats y i lost...he sed sumthin' sayin gg merely means the person saying it thinks that the game is over...therefore the other player is in a good postion to clear. Even with 7 balls left on the table it can still be an easy clearance and for some of the better players sayin 'oh i had carry but there was still 2 balls left an he jinxed me...mummy tell him off' if sum1 says gg b4 the end of the game the result will be the same as if they had said nothing i've never realised it affecting me in any way. an kowalski aint the worst, i am...i kinda know this cuz the thread was made about me :-P

i say 'gg' before the game is over but only if they have like 2 very easy shots or something like that and people say omg i lost because you jinxed me i just say no i didint jinx you you just missed. :-P

meh it puts pressure on.... yano it does simple question 2 ask if we can ignore mods...seems unfair that mods can ignore us but we cant ignore them..

yep, it can be off-putting and put stress on, but at the end of the day it's not an official pool rule and would certainly be hard to implement as a funkypool rule.

Why not give them a piece of their own medicine back ;-)

coz 9 times outta 10 i have the chance 2 clear b4 they do plus i h8 it and wudnt do it 2 them coz i dnt like it 2rongs dnt make a right i just asked if mayb i cud ignore the odd mod not much 2 ask but doesnt seem like its guna happen :(

there should b a ignore button that means u cant see what they say in main box

set them to ignore when the draw is made, and then unignore them after, only takes about 2 seconds

Personally I think you should not say it at all, would you say such things at the pub? And if you did say it at the pub it would mean you accept defeat or you want to start a fight!

I think all mods and admins should not say it under any circumstance, anyhow.

Maybe if people say "gg" or whatever then they forfeit the game ;)

I say it becasue other people say it and i feel rude if i don't as they did

I never say it. Cos if I lose I'm hardly going to announce that it was a "gg" cos I obviously don't think it was good, and when I win I'm too busy being happy and celebrating to have time to write "gg". Only time I'll ever say it is if I've been chatting and playing and I get on with the oponent and I think he/I played well. But that's very rarely !
