I think the ranking system is a joke.
So for me to get near the top again i have to play over a hundred games a day??? No thanks.
And whats the point in playing noobs anymore????? point increase of 0.33.
The other changes are an improvement,but whoever decided on the new points system needs to be kneecapped for stupidity.

The site is now more popular than ever. There are more tournaments than ever before. There are more user's than ever before. There are more various other games and improvements which are constantly being updated. The stability of the game has increased dramatically. More options and games are being worked on.

In my opinion, its getting better and better, not going through a low.

Yeh, i think the new rankin systems the only bad update. Now i dont even look at peoples rankins, only their winns/losses to see how gd they are.

i know what people mean, but i do think it is the best it has been in ages. just because tournaments are not running smoothly at the moment and certain users have been banned or left does not mean the site is going down hill.
The new rank system! as people say, rank doesn't matter, its the win/loss ratio, so stop moaning about the new ranking system, its the win loss ratio that counts.

if it is going down hill, please, explain why?
there isn't a answer to this question, so just think about how this site has gone 'down hill', it hasn't, it's just you thinking that it has, for some strange reason.

To be honest, I think that you should listen to him. He has played probably a lor longer than most of the mods, so his opinions should count for more. I know mine don't really count, since I have only been around since last year. The best players on the game have been banned for no apparent reason, the forums are just an excuse to have an argument or spam which could been done better on MSN or Yahoo! For some stupid reason I got banned for telling a spammer to shut up, which I find daft. The tourneys, which are being hosted too often anyway, are always cancelled or swung for people to win by the other player in the final getting people to spam in a box for the other player. Admins that boot people because they win them, but the admins can't be touched because they're personal friends of nick or Si.

This ain't a dig at all the mods/admins. Most of them are cool guys and I understand that sometimes a tourney has to be called off. But sometimes it is because one of the players in the tournament has a dodgy computer, which spoils the tourney for everyone.

Just thought that I would stress my opinion.

Simon, the ranks are a joke, alot of old players are leaving because of abuse, beleive me, i have experienced this, and members of the admin team are having a wee wee over the rules, as i said to kev, im not a grass, but kev guess right the 3 people who are, if you wanna know contact me. I have played this since poolgame opened in 2002? maybe late 2001, and up to this point i have had fun, but i dont have fun anymore.

I also see having more tourny's as worse, not better, there is no credibility in winning them anymore, they used to be rare to win, like 1 a day, now you are packing in around 5, it is just stupid.
