the thing with the tournys is that a lot of people want one a day but just as many people if not more want a lot of tournys every day. theres always people in the members bar asking for a mod/admin to start a tourny so majority rules.

i agree tho that the new ranking system isnt great. cause when it does eventualy settle out. when some1 new comes on no1 wil play them coz its pointless for the amount of points you'll get. a 900 ranker isnt goin to want to play a 600 newbie coz its worthless

well a newbie will play a newbie or someone lower ranked wont thay think about it

ye so why should it have to go that way. even when theyr not a newbie it wil take them ages to get up to others level. the new system is going to create segregation coz of rank more than it has been in the past.

Nah, it's different steven_up could probably get to top of tourny board in a few days but at the moment I am top so let a few people catch me then they'll consider an unban.

oh rite so you were banned coz you were top of the tournament board and lambert was banned coz he was joint third with chukie_doll, squirt and cool_dude...
so i guess them three will be banned in the next few days too ye

Regarding rankins people who play more games get less points per game. In fact, people are reaching their limits. Once the adjustment period is over we can re - review the rankings if necessary! Allow until the end of this month (2 weeks more) until people approach their proper rank.

Tournaments should not be restarted from now on. If a couple of players are disconnected the tournament should continue. It is an automated process running the tournament, and adding or removing players during a tournament is not possible.

There are more tournaments to suit people who play at different times of the day. I agree that the tournament ranking page is not so meaningful due to the number of tournaments, but it was always meant for many tournaments. To improve tournaments we are considering a few options (shall we have monthly tournament winners, eg who won most in a certain month, shall we have a weekly tournament winners tournament, etc)
