With WSC coming up today i want to do a Pool Event to celebrate the event as a one time thing.

Not expecting many to play but must be reliable and active. If i feel a player may have been unreliable in a previous event then could be refused entry.

This event can be successful if i have 2 or more players (including me so one minimum).

Game Mode: 8US

Feel 9US is more luck based and 8US is more skilled than 8UK.

Frames:

Rounds: Best of 11
Quarters: Best of 13
Semis: Best of 17
Final: Best of 19

Reliability
Each Round will last one week after release with exception of The Final which will last two weeks.

The game can also be played through the night of the deadline.

Defaults
Their must be a winner in each Round with exception of The Final where a No Winner can be declared.

Info should be given within 48 hours (the morning after) so if it ends on 1st April Midnight, the deadline for info would 4th April (Morning AM UK Time).

Extensions
If two players has equally tried and provided sufficient effort to play, they may be granted a three day extension to prevent a default.

Timezones
If two players cannot play due to timezone, if another match had no effort from both players then both will advance with different games and both guys who made no effort would be eliminated.

Idea would be to separate them in a bid for one player to lose.

In the event of Final, most effort wins with a no winner as a secondary measure.

Once i get 8 or a week has elapsed then i'll start the event.

Oh by the way if a match has equal effort and a second match has zero effort, i may just have equal effort's match in the next round rather than someone making effort lose out and then reduces risk of no effort in further rounds.

Only if that scenario happens however, if only equal effort or no effort remain then i must declare a winner except the final

Close score in the end as was 0-3 and 1-5, at start we made mistakes to lose frames but standard picked up later.

me 5 - 7 hippes (8 when we played the last frame)

We were 2-2 then he ran off and it was 6-2 and I pulled it back to 6- 5 with some bad luck on his part and had the chance to go to 6-6 but had a really iffy position on a black and just couldn't get the angle by about a milimeter.

Really enjoyed the games, Gaz is awesome and a great player and I played pretty well now I'm settling into my new touchpad, so great games! Very well played.
