3-0 win for England,, still not conceded a goal in the qualifiers

next up Spain in a friendly

Think Southgate is doing a sound job so far

England was winning 2-0 on 88th minute and to let 2 silly goals in to draw was poor.

Common sense says if you let 1 goal in which makes it's 2-1 with SECONDS to go then you foul there player and take a yellow card in order to stop any attempts of an equaliser.

Other countries do this all the time in friendlies and it happens in all matches.

England played well but Spain showed their class by starting to play when digging deep from 0-2 down. They exploited the space and lacklustre defence by increasing the tempo and spraying the ball out wide. Had Spain played the way they did in the last 10-15 mins England would have lost overall imo.

England did play well and missed several opportunities so therefore only have themselves to blame. Still a draw vs Spain is a very good result especially when they usually end up with a negative one.

Do I think G.Southgate should be the new England manager...70% I think No but the other 30% I think why not. He seems to be getting England to play with more attacking intent, creating chances and it would appear the players are playing for him with some creative freedom.

I do agree a normal manager would try and secure a result and play either more defensively or increase the time wasting opportunity. I think they fell for the trap though with removing the players who were having a good game too early therefore ruined the teams cohesion on the pitch.

A lot of managers seem to be doing that...appears if you score nowadays you're destined to complete or see the final whistle from the subs bench....how bizarre.

Rooney should be demoted and a CB be appointed as the new Captain.
