When your on a clear up in the first frame, and you somehow foul the white when setting yourself up for the black. Thats when you know this not going to go well. That's what happened to me. White somehow sliced one of his balls and went in the bottom left. 2nd frame the opposite happened. He cleared up but was out of position for the black and fouled. I had the chance to clear and rattled my first ball against the cushion. 9us i took the first from a good clearance. 2nd frame each time he missed he was snookering me. Fair play if he tapped and played the snookers. But he was going all out trying to pot. Simple bad luck in 9us. Good luck for him in this case. In 8uk there wasn't much safety play on show. he found his clear before me in the first frame. 2nd frame he fouled white and left me with a fairly simple clearance. Did i say simple? Obviously not because i underhit my last ball potting it. but leaving myself out of position for the black (still had carry at this point) decided to come off the cushion and again underhit not touching the black. He cleared from there.

He cleared well, took his chances well, and deserved the win overall. I just wasn't up to scratch. Apologies FPD
