I snookered myself on my last ball in first frame and he cleared. Then he did the same thing and I cleared. I botched a run out in 9 ball on a stupid miss, and he cleared. Next frame he did the same lol and I cleared. Uk I played poor and he ended up clearing off me missing some dumb ones. Then I potted on break but didn't have the clear but he snookered himself on the black and I cleared. The way the games went could have been a whitewash either way so fair score but we both could have been much better.

Tanks has an update this morning (why i'm not playing now) so about 1 pm i'll be playing tanks for long as i can, 4 hours maximum but maybe 2-3 so i won't be playing Craig this afternoon (nothing arranged), i'll be on to play from 7:30-10:30 though but i'll need to be off by 10:30.

US: Boring as hell tactical wise, Blocking pockets which i can live with as a smart legal tactic but in a self snook he made my clear tough by hitting the black to side rail illegally without trying to hit his last stripe.

9: Nice Open frames, cleared 3-9 in first after his break then craig cleared well

UK: I prepared myself for 8US again, i had to resort to refusing half decent clears and even sitter pots in fear if i took any chance i would lose (mindset of the match really) which is sad on my part but had to be done if i wanted to win frames.

I won first after craig slightly overran position and got self snookered, In second it was tight as balls were tied up, eventually i bored craig out and he went for clear and missed, i had a good chance to clear and got a self snooker to lose a draw.

Didn't Enjoy these at all as you can tell but someone once told me, "Play them at their own game" and almost got a draw. If i did my usual game i would lose 5-1 guaranteed instead of a possible 3-3. Glad i kept my patience in this one.

Would say ggs but didn't feel like good games.

What do you expect? you can't attack against "tappers" as you will lose every frame unless you're good at clearing in one visit which i'm not so i had to play your game which i don't enjoy.

Good points bud. Craig is good at us8 so no harm kept it close.

Good two points hon. That's why Craig and I initially fell out, because of his need to purposely foul in order to win, and I have always maintained that style of play isn't something I'd consider winning through your own merit, nothing personal against the players who do it, people will do whatever they feel they need to if they can't win fairly which is their prerogative.

He is a decent player though, so 2 points still keeps us just ahead in that fixture. Thanks for playing so quickly

I intentional foul in fact I picked it up from Craig when we were both on phoenix. Sometimes it's the best option, in which case I'll take it. That said, I clear anytime I feel I have a chance.

I wouldn't do it unless it was Clan Killer, its same as potting the white in 8 ball to gain an advantage. I had to refuse clears i would go for as vs a tapper they don't give you same courtesy unlike someone like Imran who would match your game. Unless you play their game, you lose the frame and when you do, you have to sit there trying to keep patience and not go for clear first. Each to their own but i dislike tapping but had to do it so i didn't intentionally throw frames like i would attacking and failing a clear.

On Snooker you would be warned for playing pushouts/intentional fouls.

Intentional fouls against someone like Craig that blocks the pockets is the best and easiest way to screw them over.

I played him just after he beat craig so i knew he would be deadly and that was exactly how it was. Hardly a miss by either. With that said i did have my chance to win in 8us and take it 2-0 and another game later in the series! Always enjoy my games with lewis!
