joeyy 3 - 4 __start__

first frame tactical and despite some deliberate fouling on his part I managed to come out on top
second I was a little unlucky to foul and he cleared
third he had 2 outrageous flukes to give him the frame
fourth my break left him in
fifth I was just short of pace on a couple of positionals so should have won but didn't
sixth I ran out nicely

feel hard done by as I probably had the better play and definitely worse luck

Well played joeyy mate - that perfectly timed runout in the last frame could prove to be crucial to the Overall win. Unlucky to not get the win and 9us when flukes go against are the most frustrating things to happen on here.

Still 3-4 vs a quality player is a great result....cheers for playing the match mate.

Scoreline flatters me here, in truth I was pretty average got off to a very slow start in 8 us where i could have easily been 3 - 1 down going into 9 us. Breaks were very disappointing too just wasn't working for me. 8 us I went for a clear but balls got awkward and i had to play safe, he cleared well up until he missed unexpectedly and I picked it up from there, second again should have probably lost this i went for clear for break but again balls just weren't sitting nice, he was going along nicely again but had a half pocket shot and he hit my ball. Third he went for run out came stuck and i cleared nicely finally with first chance, he took the last well after i played a loose safety to try and cover pocket. 9 us I improved here a bit but james was unlucky in some frames, i took the first then he ran out nicely in the next, i took the last two with some decent clears. 8 uk finally hit some form clearing from one chance in the first 3 with, run out in the one, and he gave me two shots in another. I got a bit unlucky in the last with my carry shot and he cleared well. Could have been a much different scoreline if he won the first 2 i would have been under the pressure, he just never got going fortunately for me ggs mate ul pleasure as always

Didn't really play a wrong shot here or miss, just both had some bad fortune with the balls at times, luckily for me he kind of gifted me a 9 us and a 8 uk frame otherwise would have likely lost or drawed at best. 8 us bizarre first frame, i went in off from his break after I played a cannon then he did the same thing, both ul to go in off as well, I cleared with a seven balling from there, he then cleared very well from my break to get a 7 b of his own, made it difficult for himself almost though 9 us he won the first after playing a nice snooker and i couldnt quite get it safe. second he should have got a 3 - 9 combo, was medium sort of difficulty but i expected him to get it being the great player he is and i cleared from there. 8 uk I went for clear from his dry break, couldn't quite manage it as it was tough but he missed an easy plant and i cleared the rest of mine for another 7 b. I ran out nicely in the last to seal the win. He rarely plays a wrong shot so i was lucky to get two of them in this one, and they both cost him the frames so im not going to complain still but Andy is a top player so I'm happy to get the win here even If i wasnt due to my play ggs mate ul pleasure as always
