At least no one takes the title of "Best Foreign Captain" from me...

To be fair, MVP and Pros fell short of their own standards on the short format competitions. MVP didn't win the cup until it went to 8 vs 8 (after seasons of complaints from them :p), and Pros were second best to SS in the SL. Uprising cleaned up in all formats, several times against a Phoenix side that was better on paper (though we had more than our fair share of stronger line ups as well). The fact it took Phoenix so long to win something with much weaker clans winning things first is a testament to the strength and toughness of Uprising.

Even when we were in the tier below SS and Pros we finished 2nd in the three leagues with the other 2 1st and 3rd in different leagues. Pros and MVP tended to win from the front, where Uprising fought from behind at times which is tougher. Though there is a fair amount of crossover of players, with different peaks of their performance. Really it is anyone's game in the normal formats but I'd give Uprising an edge in short ones. 6 titles in one season though

To be honest, I wasn't the best, and Seb was in machine mode. 8 US, I made a mistake, in going for a runout myself, and it was tad scrappy. I was a tad ul in not getting a double to the top pocket from nothing. Then he created a runout from nothing really.

All in all, I got beat by a runout, so not so bad. xD ggs Seb, always a pleasure.

I kept it semi close, so done the sacrifice of playing him, and lets go close it out. ^.^

Just didn't happen for me. Went for a runout and fell short late on positionally and he cleared up well. Second was a similar story.

9us I went for the 1 in the top right corner and it cannoned down to set up a tap in 1-9 in the bottom left. Next frame I made a positional error, then missed a double while trying to cover it and it came off the middle jaw to set up another finish and he finished it well.

8uk he gifted me one back losing position on his last colour which needed to be spot on. I went for the runout again but fell short early on and he cleared.

Against a lesser opponent I might've done well but he left me no room for error and I had the error in my game. Well played and well deserved. Sorry guys!

Where is MVP or Professionals?

MVP folded, turned into Pros basically with some new faces, Been and Matty left, Rich did it for a season or two (i think) then "Old" Pros folded and i carried on with what i could under same name after some controversy. After i folded "New" Pros then some joined Uprising and some Dragons (dvz). Put "New" as when i ran it, it wasn't strong so i don't consider my season in the record books.

Shame not to see any kicking about, yeah I joined Professionals after Ab and Keith twisted my arm but was a MVP only player.

Interesting to see clans are still going, seems quiet here though.

Yeah it's a ghost town and league was on verge of folding (has on Snooker and even worse there). Since Java killed this site, many has left and hasn't been an update for years.

Even me, who played 12-15 hours a day is losing interest and only on a few hours a day now unless Rich comes on to play

Yep, League was the main source for posting, i had to fold it twice in 6 months after a 4 month break the first time. No one posts there anymore.

Deadline for any outstanding games from last season is 8th January, if games are unplayed by then please send default information by the 10th January.
