my white ball has a big flipping cross in it...how do i get a plain white ball.

the cross in the aimer? try changing cross in Control Panel > Mouse > Precision Select or maybe a Resolution thing, i had to check mine twice to make sure i had full resolution.

Options>game>cursor>ghost ball

Press Ok after Selection mate, Upgrade is for Cues

Don't change cue change the game cursor. Don't need premium. Also, maximizing the game window will help
