Finally hit some form its been a long time coming, didn't really miss a ball apart from a very tough middle, we only played to 35 otherwise runs would have been higher first frame was already an early turning point, dave looked set to clear after i smashed and didnt pot but he missed uncharacteristically and i held my nerves and got to 35 from my first chance. second frame, he played a loose safety leaving me a very tight middle thin cut which i only just missed and he brilliantly responded by clearing to 35 to seal it no chance for me there. third scrappy one this i had a bad bit of fortune double potting but then he had a v ul double pot and i took it from there with a good 23 under the circumstances. He didnt get a shot in the last as i potted a nice ball to top bag from his break and i made 55 to win the match. Great match, he wasnt 100% but hes still very tough to beat and one of the best even with his B Game, Just glad I found some form with potting. top guy and pleasure as always mate, I could play him all day and i wouldnt get bored ggs v ul man

What a game... seriously the most intense match ive ever been involved in, both brought our A games as neither of us missed a single pot. 8 us i felt a bit hard done by here not to come out with a lead as i feel i edged this game type only slightly but he did excellently from 3 - 1 down. 9 us both had a golden break from our first breaks mental haha! again i felt like i edged this one slightly but he wasn't letting me get away and again he did brilliantly to come back from 3 - 1. 8 uk i took a two nil lead and thought that was it tbh. I had a bit of bad luck giving away two shots in two frames in the next frames and all of a sudden its 3 - 2 to him pressure on me now. luckily for me the balls started to be harsh on with his cannons we shared the next two. Last frame i was really feeling the pressure but he gave me a chance and i took my time and cleared the table well to seal the win! We both played brill, even though there were no run outs it was very very high standard from both with some insane clearances. He didnt derserve to lose how he played no question, but i think i just about did enough here to get the win, pleasure playing a class player and guy great games mate v ul

Awesome achievement mate and result to reach the final - It takes 2 quality players to make an epic match and that's exactly what this was. Close throughout, I watched the scores come through and even that was a bit nerve racking lol.
