Decent games i played well with a couple of decent run outs, he had a lucky break with his run out by a smash with the 3 onto the 9. But he also cleared well in his other games. I should have won the last game in UK8 but i jawed one that i shouldn't have missed.

Aside from a few bad shots at the beginning, his play was top notch really, he was very effective in bringing balls into play, I've had a very tiring day and my brain just didn't seem to have the capacity to think in these matches, but my potting made up for it, I was probably the more accurate with my potting but he was definitely the better player and the better thinker today, so I felt lucky to make it as close as I did, it was the kind of game where if one missed the other would clear.

After a daunting start going 3-0 down, somehow I managed to pull this back with a runout in the last game of 8uk to steal this. My approach was much the same as the game with kris, too tired to think so just relied on potting and a bit of luck. The play was high standard with hardly any misses from any of us, both had some good luck in 9us but it was a misjudged shot from him in a poor frame from us both in 8uk that made the difference. I was lucky to walk away with this one.
