8 us was more or less evenly matched, asides a few missed chances every other chance was taken by the two of us, and i opened up a 3-2 lead.

9 us for me personally was below the standard of what i play and i missed some easy chances i wouldnt usually.. mind you i was leading 2-1 in the 9us and 5-3 overall at this point, and i missed a simple black to have him finish up, and then break and knock in a decent 2-9 combo to level up at 5-5 in the blink of an eye..

So it was 5-5 going into the 8UK and he took the first 2 due to silly fouls by me per frame, and all of a sudden that was 4 in a row for him, and from 5-3 to me it had become 5-7. I got my act together and pulled off a couple of pretty good clearances to take the match into a decider, where he was ul on the final red and i came to the table to clear and take the match.

Well played mate, true grit and determination till the very end...just how all matches should be IMO. Fantastic result to retrieve the scoreline from 5-7 to win the next 3 in a row.
