Dedi to this fantastic team: I don't enter many tournaments so it's always nice to win overall as and when I do play. I played better in the earlier rounds than the finale itself including a runout in the Semi Final.

We played in the early hours of the morning as I doubt he'd get time to play it otherwise. He won 5-0 but I think and hope he'll admit apart from frame 1 where I dry broke I was pretty much screwed over in the last 4. Two runout opportunities for me and balls stuck to each other or appeared from no where to block shots.

I don't play 8uk but i thought had the luck been a little fairer I might have scored at least 2 or 3.

Still the original opponent got to play and rightly so - well played mate. Class player and bloke too - so pleased we got to play.

* Bear in mind I don't play 8uk, just subbed in to get game done.
