A shame to see you go, brought home some great scores but it looks like it was time for both parties to separate. I completely agree with the stance we have taken. If a player is thinking about leaving in the middle of a season then it is best they go whether they are certain or not. We have plenty of players who would like to play for us and would stick around. Players hopping clans every other season just destabilises clans and causes arguments of poaching and the like. If a player is happy where he is then there would be no doubts.

Once a player has made his feelings known and the decision is to move then there's no harm in letting a loyal player have more games rather than someone with one eye on a move. Surely the weird thing would be to play someone who you know doesn't want to play for you?

Fair enough if it's the final game but we're still roughly 2 months away from a new season, that just drags out the affair and would open up captains making more moves because if someone moving is still playing for us, then surely there may be others who would move.

Uprising is a loyalty clan, anyone in Uprising is here because they don't want to play for another clan. Anyone with a question mark is gone. We don't cater for players with ego's who want to be chased or convinced into staying because they are unsure. No matter how good that player is they can't be bigger than the team, which means this "policy" will keep that the case. We won't beg to our own players to not move away because we shouldn't have to, whether they are big scorers/names or not.

If my rough calculations are correct, we now have 28 points with two matches still to score (and our title rivals on 30 points with an inferior FD). We've already got a draw secured vs BS, so we're on 29 points.

That means in the 4 remaining games, we just need to avoid losing them all for the FBL league title? Unless I've missed a result

I understand it in the way that fair enough its how this clan is and chooses to run by unlike others and therefore doesn't suit me and others i'm sure but will suit some of course like those here. But firstly i do want to play for this side, well did, and all that, plus if undecided, they may end up staying by then end and could be yours for another season, its early days to be asking at times, but if this is a clan that has to be so certain its all aimed yes at them throughout then thats how it is and is why i've gone but it is a loss for the rest of the season and possibly further on if the decision was to be a stay in the end. Its just an odd time to see someone go and make it happen like that. This clan obviously like you say is aimed at those who aren't ones who like to vary and change at times in who they play for so for me going it matches just that as I am a person like that more. Overall it has been good up till now though as ive said and is best that i'm gone for all parties like I am.

When i heard of this policy i found it very harsh and it doesnt make uprising look a nice clan to be in if your going to boot your fcl golden cue player out due to him wanting a move after the season ends. Harry has been honest and you should respect that and at this stage he should of been able to complete this season in full after all the hard work hes given this season , just my view

We judge people by character, not by success. We won't pretend people are our friends because they happen to be good at pool and we won't ever compromise our integrity. If any of our players started whoring themselves out to other clans halfway through a season - they would be equally as unwelcome at Uprising. I'd rather finish last with a decent set of guys than first with a load of mercenaries, and our sloppy seconds.

But that uncertainty means the clan is uncertain whether they need a replacement or not so they are being messed about. If clan loyalty doesn't suit you that is fine. But you shouldn't be surprised to go. Any doubts mean you aren't 100% for us and when you even lie about who you will join we just can't trust you. It's not an uncommon thing for you to leave a clan and you've left us in the lurch a couple of times now, we acted in the best interest of the clan. Other clans fold when players leave like that, even this season to some extent.

No clan would want a player who likes to move clans. You ate signed for your skill in the hope you will last long. These sorts of players are the ones with the bad reputations and damage clans because they're so undecided about who to play for even after they have committed to a side.

It's not harsh at all, think of it in reverse. We as a clan say to Harry mid season we don't want you anymore and we'll be kicking you out at the end of the season (or even saying we 'might' kick you out). Harry wouldn't want to play for that clan, nobody would. It's no different the other way round. Especially when this is a reoccurring thing.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Same principle. Every player gives that hard work and captains give even more. If you want us to respect Harry's hard work then you have to show us the same respect when all his team mates give the same for each other and Stu and Eri and others give even more hard work only to be told it's not enough to keep players loyal. Disloyalty breeds ill-feelings. Standing up to that is not a bad thing.
