Hes the only one who had a default last set, only cause he left an inactive player for two weeks in the fixtures. And hes trying to do the same now lol

At the start of the season Keith made a long post about this very situation. All captains read it, and knew there could be consequences for selecting inactive players. It's the same rule for every single clan so it seems perfectly fair.

I don't think anyone is particularly at fault, as andyw1 didn't seem inactive at the time - although he maybe should've been removed as he could always have been re-signed afterwards. I can also see how it would be harsh on ego to sub him out after having to wait 2 weeks for an opponent.

I think if it was me, I'd make a sub but I can understand why huts is reluctant.

* It's very unfortunate what has happened with shadows and his computer, at the time of fixtures release he was very much active. So we are perfectly entitled to wait till subs are permitted (we didn't make the two week rule) or look into possibly removing him from the team list further down the line. I'd prefer not too tbh, subs are there for this reason alone. (Players facing difficulties with getting their matches played through no fault of their own).

So all we have to do is not play the fixture in the 3rd week and we'll definitely win the default. We ALL know you're doing your utmost to freeze Jack out of the fixture, like you have done the past 2 seasons, but what's the point if you're just going to hand us the points anyway? Jack hardly plays now anyway and whoever you selected would stand a good chance! It's only your own team you're hurting here - and they don't deserve it, even if you probably do!

Yep but as posted above you risk Uprising playing for default if shadows doesn't return as you hoped. If shadows doesn't come back before week three when he said he may not be able to play until end of February. Its the same with FPD and Seb but they know it doesn't make sense to leave in a player who odds are won't play as Seb is out of town so they left Seb out knowing it.

With Andy you couldn't forsee him being inactive so wasn't your fault but with Shadows you have been notified on Day 1 of release so there would be no excuses if Uprising chose to play for the default and would win it too based on the info above in my post.

Yep you can't sub until day 13/14 but if you remove him and add him later then it won't be your fault. Guidelines say you can't sub unless removed but if you don't remove, the later you leave it the more it favours the other team at defaults.
