im having some issues when playing just about all the time now. ill be in a game first frame will kick off sweet as a nut. come the 2nd , 3rd , 4th etc etc it delays and could take upto a minute to register ive clicked to start a new frame.
some cases i have to leave and set a new game up, i had to to do this every game against miss_harriet in our clan games. its not just premium users its also against guest accounts and regular accounts
( im able to type still in the dialog boxes etc still )

anyone else got this issue and can admin shed some light on this for me please

before people start with java its upto date and i wont roll back

security means more, and its only started this past week. if java was the problem it should of been like it for a while now surely?

Normally its Java, seen quite a lot of these and normally in tournaments, Craig is right. Basically if you don't downgrade the problem will only continue.

We cannot fix this problem at the moment. IF you want to continue playing the game without issues, downgrade java to older version. That is your choice and yours only.

That is the only advice we can give until the problem either goes away by itself or nick decides to come back....

There is a security risk installing older versions (i have Java 8 Update 31) but question is, would you rather risk a security risk or keep disconnecting in tournaments? for me security wins (as i rarely enter tournaments) but with all problem i have heard with new java version i would rather stick with a version i know works.

If you prefer security then everytime you enter a tournament you run the risk of disconnecting, If you prefer a working java (8u31) then you do get more security bugs (not sure what they are) but no more disconnects in tournaments.

I used to get a lot of problems until i stopped updating java in july 2014, haven't had a single problem since.

its not tournaments mate. rare ill even look at one let alone enter one.. its against all users not just premium users its guest accounts and reg acc, in standard games (ranked and friendlies).

i wont roll back java security means more. sooner or later someones going to be in the crap because of it.

Still java pal, since i haven't updated since server meltdown last year, i have had only one white screen recently on Commodo Dragon, No other problems.

The new Java Version 8 Update 71 works well for me too. The security box appears every now and again but just click RUN and it goes.

Comodo IceDragon is the best browser by a country mile.

No wonder its slow if you use IE... Firefox ftw.

Comodo IceDragon is based on Firefox but also has it's own malware security built in. Plus it's smoother and quicker IMO.

Never tried it, reluctant to try another browser after perfecting Firefox for funkypool...

Use chrome for normal internet browsing and firefox is there just for fpool.

You can download it - keep Firefox installed too and just don't make it the default browser. That way you don't disturb anything you have perfected.

I browse on Opera and play on Commodo (wish i could get Maxthon to work).

played using IE since day 1 of my funky days worked like a beaut 99% of the time. tried ff and opera didnt like the way the game handled on them, going to try comodo tho.

If your not using your laptop/desktop as much as you used too = when you start up windows it will start seeking all the updates then you will get lag. Not only windows your security software will be trying to hog your bandwidth.

Yeah I agree with the above, also reduce the Impact certain programs have when you Start-up your PC/Laptop via Task Manager (CTRL + ALT + DEL).

If you have CCleaner then Analyze and Clean before even loading your browser daily that will help along with emptying the Java Cache (Temporary Files) under the Java icon via the Control Panel.

Only have one browser open/active at any one time the CPU will be drained on irrelevant processes encouraging the risk to slow down the PC/Laptop therefore cause lagging to occur.

could that be why i lag during certain adverts? i browse on Opera as its faster than any other browser and i can browse Facebook with no lag but when ad changes every 30-60 seconds OR certain ads come on (i know i lag on two of them, maybe three), i have to wait around 10-20 for lag to disappear (or i get unavoidable lag on shots), in clan games with 20 sec shot timer it poses a problem but i may ask my opponents if i can have an extra 10 second shot clock to remedy it.

I'll try just browsing and playing on Comodo tonight (no Facebook as game would have severe lag), Comodo is slower than Opera. On Opera no lag on ads or what i had open. Comodo i explained above

i use cccleaner religously. i only have certain programs running on boot up. i download updates manually once a week and only have the game applet window open.
