I made no such implication. I said the time slot was "too restrictive" which isn't any kind of slur. Cliffy has a job and a life, a job that means he has to get up at 4am on occasion. I was careful with the wording of my post, which was entirely reasonable. I only posted suggesting a compromise was met - how you can all get your knickers in a twist over that is beyond me!

Jesus how can a simple message erupt to all this nonsense? All i said was that rapid said he can only play after 9.30pm which is too late for me as i wake up at 4.45am every morning so im dead by 8.30pm which is reasonable in my opinion. He said he can play sunday but im out most of the day due to valentines day. Il be available sunday evening say from 6pm till about 8 cos of work monday. Ash you know im one of the most active players on here and i always get my games done and if i dont then 95% of the time thats down to my opponent. Anyway no dramas i hope we get it done

Chris has gone out to borrow a laptop and will be back about 11pm if that's not too late to play - if it is (which is completely understandable), then they can re-arrange for tomorrow or Sunday!

Played pretty well here, didnt miss a pot just came short with a tricky postional shot to lose last frame. 8 us i disheed up my first chance then i seven balled him off of his break in the next. 9 us my break was so bad lol they just all stuck together, potted a nice 4 - 9 combo in that one, then cleared up nicely in the second after he played a loose safety. 8 uk he got unlucky in the first and gave me two shots but only needed the one to take it. In the last he got very unlucky and went in off again, but i had a tricky little shot to play on my second last yellow and ended up snookering myself badly and he took it from there. Bit disappointed to not take the last but for one loose positional, but he deserved at least one in that type he had some bad run of the balls, luckily i didnt give him much chance in the previuos frames ggs mate

Quality win mate winning the match overall too, superbly done.

rapid 1 - 1 cliffy

45 run for me.

First rack I was a bit unlucky sticking on a ball trying for a split. Cliffy made a nice run then completely missed his split which confused us both. I then got going but potted on my split and handed it back to him to win it.
Second rack I was going OK and then missed a sitter but fluked it safe. He then fluked the pot from the safe place and made a few before letting me back in and I hit a 45 run to win it.

Can I just ask what you played that fixture in? You have an SL match vs him I can't see an FBL Straight one.

Or am I missing something?
