So sorry guys, bad day in the phoenix camp I guess! First Ash messes up the fixtures and then I decide to day dream about fresh while talking about Ryan....I do apologise guys but in my defence.... I do it every day ;) lol

First time ive played zante i believe haha, I played pretty well not much more i could have got from this result in all fairness. 8 us he was in first and going along nicely, but he missed his last ball trying to cannon the black an i cleared from there, then i cleared neatly after a bit of a tactical battle in the second. 9 us zante was first in and he missed the 6 ball, he was a bit fortunate to leave only a difficult double for myself when i came back to the table but i still fancied to get it and i just jawed it and he took it from there. Then he potted a nice 3 - 9 combo to take the second nothing i could do from my break. 8 uk he got ul when he gave away two shots and i cleared from there well. I potted from my break, balls were just awkward like the first break and i missed a yellow which i think wasnt cutable anyway haha and he did well to finish it from there. Bit disappointed to start SL with a draw maybe could have snatched a 4 - 2 here but for a difficult ish double, but i still think the draw was a fair result he played well looks like a quality player and a sound guy ggs mate wp

Good draw there Ryan - I rate zante very highly - he's a very good player.

Was the highest quality play by both players up until the last frame, both playing at the top of our games i reckon. 8 us dvz was in first but his clearance was very tough and he decided to play safe but i maneuvered the cue ball round very nicely to take it with my first chance. A fantastic clearance from him in the second which just didnt look on a first but of course with his quality he can clear from the impossible haha. 9 us i took it with a very nicely controlled finish with my first chance as did he in the second from my break. 8 uk i took the first after his run out didnt come off. the last was a very tight affair, he decided to play safe, then i potted a great plant from distance, thought i was snookered but i potted a yellow with like 1 sec remaining, i then had to pot a yellow off the cushion but i just couldnt get position on my last yellow, he had the chance to clear for a draw but he went in off somehow after a mis judgement to gift me an early christmas present I would have happily took the draw here as that would have been a fair result but im very pleased with the win. Was top quality clearances from both until the last which dave will have nightmares about top player and guy as always ggs mate v wp
