Trying to please everyone by allowing more into the event
Just adapting the format now

Ok guys, thanks for all the interest and because of that, I am adapting the format slightly to accommodate more players (this will be the last time the format is changed)

So the new format :

- We will have 4 teams (Europe, UK, USA, Rest of the world)
- Each team will have 5 players
- Players will be randomly drawn into their teams
- The four teams will be split into a semi-finals stage
- Each player plays the 5 opposing players in the overall fixture, making a total of 25 matches in each semi-final (first to 13 wins)
- Each match will be completed regardless of whether a team reaches 13 early
- Each individual match will be the best of 9 racks of 9 ball, first to 5
- There will be 2 fixture sets, each having a 2 week deadline
- The first fixture set will consist of 3 matches each, and the second set consisting of 2 matches each

Once the semi finals stages are complete, the 2 winning teams will compete in the final.

There will be a twist to the final....

In each of the 2 losing semi finalists, a "best loser" will join their opponents' team in the final!
This will be determined by the player who wins the most racks in each losing team.

The idea of this is to give each individual player an incentive to win as many racks as possible in their 5 matches, to book a place in the final.


This will make the final 6v6, a total of 36 matches, first team to 19 points become MOSCONI CUP CHAMPIONS
