been thinking about doing one of these for a while but never got round to it.

Way it works is we will have 4 groups of 4 members with a three week deadline, top two of each group move into semi finals which then will be split into two games of grand final and a 3rd place playoff.

How do you score points?
Way it works is to score goals and way you do that is by gaining events and winning the frame which will score one goal. Whoever scores most goals wins the match.

Group Format?
Group will be six frames of your type (Home), Straight will also be six so choose wisely Home and Away will be played so six games total.

Group games you gain 3 for a win and 1 for a draw.

If tied at end of group stage then head to head will be used, if that is the same then goal difference, if still tied then a playoff will be played.

Knockout Format?
Knockout Phase and Third Place Playoff will be four frames of 8US, 9US and 8UK so twelve frames total. Goal if an event is scored in each frame then your total is seven goals but all twelve could be completed.

If tied at end of match then a playoff will be played.

Grand Final Format?
Grand Final will be five frames of 8US, 9US and 8UK so fifteen frames total. Goal if an event is scored in each frame then your total is eight goals but all fifteen could be completed.

Playoff Format?
Will continue until someone is two goals ahead and classed as a penalty shootout.

James did you mean to add in quarters aswell? If 8 progress surely there's a quarters before the semi's.

Also would it be a 3 week deadline to complete all 6 matches?

ah yeah, quarters will be same as knockout but knockout is after group stage and yeah in group stage then fortnight for knockout

World Cup Events Challenge - Group Stage
Six Frames of your type (Home) - Runout or Golden Break is One Goal (frames does not matter so nothing for frames)

Play each player in your group, Once Home and Once Away, 3 pts per win, 1 for draw, 0 for loss.
