I took an early lead, looked like I would edge it. Then I threw it away with some poor shots. At 3-3 I had to take my chances, one mistake and I wouldn't have won and I managed to hold my nerve to take victory. Unlucky for him to get nothing, but I think 5-3 was about right in terms of frames.

He played superbly in 8us, opened with a runout and played terrifically. I missed the chance to take a win but he ended up leaving a black hanging over the pocket when he thought he might be snookered to give me one.

9 ball I was more in it, opened with a decent little 1-9 only for him to peg me back with another runout. Next I completely messed up my positioning with a clearance on and then he had a decent clearance in the last.

8uk, he should've finished it in the first frame with a cracking little clearance but he mis-hit it before he actually meant to take it on one of the last colours so I at least had a chance. Second frame I went for the clearance and didn't get far into it, he cleared up no problem for a thoroughly deserved victory.

Top quality games, but I was chasing the game from his runout and I never got back in it.

9us - I cleared off his break and then he left me a lucky 1-9 combo to take it

In us8 I got unlucky with a split in the first game but he then had an excellent clearance. Second game followed a similar way to the first I left a difficult double when splitting my second last ball and missed it and he cleared. In us9 he was a fraction from not seeing the 2 and when I got back in I cleared with a combo. In next game of us9 he should have run out he was on the 6 with 2 balls left when he missed a pot which he would hardly ever miss with the other balls sitting. So it was 2-2 when I could and should have been 4-1 down. On to uk and I went for a split to go for the run out and potted one of his and he cleared with ease. Then in the next game he broke and balls split well and he missed a long pot to the bottom. I then cleared but had to get position on the black accurately and under hit my effort, which left him with the clear to win 4-2. Strange game it could have been 3-3 but I could easily have lost 7-1 it just shows how games in this short format can swing.

I didn't get any sort of run in the 9 ball games and that hit me hard. Wasn't up to my usual standard but she punished every single mistake. Had to win the last three to scrape the win.

Enjoyed the games, she really deserved to beat me here and was very unlucky not too. Scraped it by the skin of my teeth!

I subbed into play the one who loves a rerack in an fbl 9ball and i won 5-1 with 2 runouts and a huge fluke in the final frame ( sorry again mate). unfortunately for Jack i took a pounding against seb minutes b4 we played and so i used that incentive to play ok
