Jamie, we asked for a sub to get a game played, not our problem you selected a weaker player. You could have played anyone you wanted.
I do not appreciate hipocracy when last week on this same thread, I was accused of playing for default 10 days before deadline. You are now playing default over a tie that you throw a player in for less than a day on a Sunday morning without even arranging a time with harriet. Utter bs.
And also, accusing us of being manipulative, you really do take the mick when you are one of two/three teams effectively being involved in match fixing. No comparison and it is disgusting that you think you can make us out to be the guilty ones!
Ok. Jolene came back on to see if she could play at 6pm and no sign. Shes off now as am i. Going out for dinner. No one is to sub into that game. They made their bed and now will lie in it. As far as im concerned they tried to munipulate us into making a weaker sub. I have seen it done a few times by that team (no others i have seen) and i find it to be against the spirit of the game. It is no surprise however.
As for the game against the Pros. James has tried to get his players on through facebook and the like. blackcabman7 is off out to work. If anybody else ligible comes on then try and get it done.
As for the set. We drew against the Dynamos and finished that early so congrats to both teams.
SL is our focus this week so keep up the great work.

yeah match fixing lol, no one moans when they play strong players but you can't let weaker guys have ago against the top guns.
if your captain was nicer who knows, i'm sure all the captains are fed up with the attitude of the clan in question, i like you as a person and on the game but some guys only blame others and don't take responsibility

It's rediculous I would never play for a team who set out to lose on purpose if pros and revs did do that it's pathetic even if Phoenix would be the team to be affected. Uprising are more than good enough to be them fairly anyway!!

me and kris made a pact though not to let phoenix win the league (for me he has bullied me for 5 months and enoughs, enough) so we fielded weaker players to play uprising and strong vs phoenix and when they don't then my celebratey post will be huge lol.

good post mate, i admit i put in a slightly weaker team vs uprising (sarah and dee although they are good players), if i really wanted to screw ash i would have put Richie and Toluca in there and take dvz and silent_hill out (half tempted lol).

Does every captain not have the right to use whatever players they wish in their team vs whatever team?
Otherwise they would just pick the strongest 8 vs every team and all teams would be only 8 players and it would be boring.
Uprising will win because they have won more points than anyone else, it's not cheating it's just the way it is. Dgens perception of his weakest team may be what I or someone else believes to be his strongest team, it's all a matter of opinion.
No where in the rules does it say that a team must field a team equally good in their both games, by the looks of it pros have nothing to play for so why not field who they want in whatever games.
James shouldn't have gave that as his reason but still it's not against the rules.

Yeah your right i did think of fielding a weaker team, i nearly did tonight as well but someone got through to me so i changed our list. Ash and Phoenix has made me angry for months and months so i don't want Phoenix winning after the way i was treated (up to a few sets ago), had enough rows with Ash. Now i see my mind was warped with revenge and making Ash pay by not letting his perfect team win the league which was wrong of me so i made the list bare able (given rich a game though, that fine? good).
Nothing against the rules though says i couldn't field weaker players as its the same as fielding your absolute best vs a top clan and worst vs a poor clan, you would be helping a clan still.
I went down a dark and twisted path, why? because of your team, never in my 9 years have i been treated the way i did by an individual and spoke to the way that person did. Dictating me to play matches, Forcing me to do things against my will.
I found the light now so i won't be fielding weaker players to help the top teams.

It was true yes, but if you got bullied for 5 months wouldn't you want payback on the guys who did it? i admit it was wrong of me but i changed the list before it was too late so no harm done.
thanks to the player for speaking sense to me. i'm not a bad guy really but Ash really got to me and then we got talking. at the time i wanted Phoenix to lose whatever the cost for what they did to me.
will be gone when season ends so won't see me playing for a while after this.
