sorry but i have to laugh at all this avoidance talk, Corsair (Pirate) was one of the best Regular players i ever saw on Snooker racking up more than 50 maximums and i believe he was in #1 spot at the time, i know i shouldn't boast about Snooker but why would a player like that be scared to play? maybe he had other reasons for not showing, its not as concrete as it may seem.
Looking at Corsairs post he was online when they arranged though, must count for something.
a few examples this set:
klein posts today that he has been called in to do overtime at double pay, no one in their right mind would refuse it. does it mean hes avoiding his opponent? no an understandable real life case happens.
you couldn't play punkpoet at your arranged time because of browser and java problems, did you avoid him? no because something needed to play wouldn't work.
me and magic arranged for players champ, he didn't show but wasn't avoiding as work was hectic, we played the next day.
so before saying he avoided his opponent, please think about that and possible circumstances surrounding it.

I don't think in this case it is avoidance but to say avoidance doesn't happen is a bit naive. I doubt corsair would dodge anyone as he's one of the best players on the site. In my personal experience, Uprising has been a difficult team to organize with. Quite often having to run around on deadline day to finish matches. I think k that this difficulty may have affected Davy in this match rather than avoidance.

What team are you the Captain for again James? Just then I thought it was Uprising - sorry but this has to be said too. Please can you do one of the following as it's getting very tiresome:
1. Passing comments on things which are none of Pros concern.
2. Stop interfering and representing/supporting Uprising in every damn little thing. It's common knowledge you fan the flame for them just please go and kindle it elsewhere.

Sorry but when a friends reputation is being buried i felt the need to step in. If his good name wasn't being buried then i wouldn't have posted.
i knew the #dgen<3uprising card would be played before posting but needed to say something. it doesn't matter even if i was in Phoenix i would post the same thing, team fans has nothing to do with it.

Disappointed in me? I'm everyday online and BOTH players of Uprising refused to play against me. The 1st was arranged and the 2nd did not respond.
I'm not a worthy player for this clan, and nobody likes to play against me, so i go.
I'm also sick and will be unavailable in the upcoming days

Neither missed much in 8 ball, good standard by both.
In 9 ball I started well on for a runout but was left awkward on 8 ball. The next two I had little luck and johny took them up. The last two, the reverse happened where johny got ul in a few shots.
8uk, I played well though missed position for a runout by no more than a mm.

Not fair at all mate. I've gone out of my way in this fixture to make sure games have been played. So far two of your players have not turned up to fixtures (without any complaint from us), and Shadwell has suffered from your end (much to my regret). Myself and Ash have actually been working quite amicably to try and sort out games, and if we didn't today, Fresh probably wouldn't have got to play in the fixture. Davy is a nice guy but has overacted massively, and should think about being a team player a little more. We WILL get these games played!

Davy made a point and its done now, hopefully he will be staying, and looks as though we will get these FCL games done... hopefully

Me and faust have been working amicably to get all matches played - both held back on making subs in order to give the original players as much time to play and contribute. It's been a pleasant surprise to me and probably faust that we've been getting on. So on that note what happened earlier has happened, a fixture got played and both players seem to have enjoyed it too.
I sincerely hope davybaumers changes his mind on the 'moro but if he doesn't then we have to accept his decision. In the meantime, matches still need to be played and let's try and maintain the harmony between two sides who have on previous occasions been the exact opposite.
Excuse the pun Keiron mate but it makes a re_fresh_ ing change lol. We WILL get all completed by Sunday hopefully no subs will be required, off_white will play cgibson92 asap.
